Instructions for Use

Sil.Vet OTC is a buffered solution, with a pleasant odor, for the wound management, disinfection and moisturization.

Sil.Vet OTC is a clear, ranging from colorless to pale yellowish solution, protected from micro- bial contamination by a low concentration of ionic silver and supplied in 100mL, 250mL or 500mL bottles.

INTENDED USE AND INDICATIONS FOR USE

Sil.Vet OTC is intended for use in animals and pets, for the management and moisturizing of minor cuts, minor burns, abra- sions and irritated areas.

Sil.Vet OTC Solution is ideal for in-house treatment of wounds and is an integral part of any first aid kit for pets, horses, and other animals. It is effective in treating hot spots, abrasions, sores, cuts, rashes, burns, and skin irritations.

GENERAL DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  1. Clean the affected area gently.
  2. Apply Sil.Vet OTC directly on the wound or surrounding skin using a spray, syringe, foam bottle, or gauze. Ensure coverage beyond wound edges and allow to dry. No rinsing is needed.
  3. For bandaging, apply Sil.Vet OTC to gauze and secure with a secondary dressing.

Apply 1-2 times daily until the wound heals or desired results are achieved.

Between dressing changes, moisten dressings with Sil.Vet OTC for easier removal.

Use up to 10mL per kg of body weight in 24 hours.

Sil.Vet OTC is a stand-alone solution suitable for removing crusty or moistening dressings.

DO NOT INJECT.

DO NOT wash the wound with Saline, Before or After using Sil.Vet OTC as it may reduce the solution’s efficacy.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Note:

  • DO NOT wash the wound with Saline, Before or After using Sil.Vet OTC.
